Why do you need a boat licence course?
A motor recreational boat or speedboat with an engine power of 25 HP (19 kW) or more can only be operated with a boat operator certificate. The certificate is issued by the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration (LTSA) after passing the required exams.
Certificates differ by area of validity: a national certificate is valid only in Lithuania, while an international certificate is valid in Lithuania and in foreign maritime waters.
We organize international boat licence courses that allow you to operate motor recreational boats without engine power limitations in inland waters, waterways such as the Nemunas, Neris, Minija and the Curonian Lagoon, in the Lithuanian coastal navigation area, within the territorial sea up to 12 nautical miles (22 km) from the shore, at sea and abroad.
